The 2024 Festival was a huge success with entries 150 Piano and 100 Speech and Drama. With 415 entries it turned into a very busy two weeks. The 112th Festival was aimed at being a "Family" event with several sessions and concerts taking on this theme
A real pleasure for many the Friday evening opening event, of the Jazz Band challenge taking place at the Theatre for the first time, followed by a set from the Oxford University Jazz Orchestra..
Concerts this year included The North Cotswold Chamber Choir, two Adderbury Ensemble concerts, the Family Concert with music telling the story of two of Vivaldi's seasons.
Returning again to the Festival in 2024 was a Recital in honour of past chair Shauni McGregor, featuring 14 young performers, each performing a short set using, piano, voice, guitar, saxophone, speech, strings and much more.
The festival was well supported by some enthusiastic and lively adjudicators, that gave creative, constructive and well earned feedback to all entrants. To these we give our wholehearted thanks.
The Festival Concert was again well supported and featured the "best of the fortnight" introduced by Chairperson Sarah Cobb and adjudicated by President Anthony Williams.
